"little prince" is about to tell a story of alien children to live in a very small planet, that planet there is only one him, he has to take care of the planet, he is the planet the little prince, grown up, he went to other planets travel, has encountered all sorts of people (aliens)。 finally he came to the author encountered on earth, and then died here
look at this book, adults should not ripe to look at the mentality, to the point of view of your heart to understand it. the little prince has a pure heart and a rich imagination.
when the little prince left his planet, on the road, when a king, and that king would just like to control all rational, this is not like us? especially when the teacher, like to go to other people, because order that other people can find themselves high up above and become a king, others only obeys.
the second encounter is love are people who love to be admired him, praise him anything except hear, in fact, we ourselves do they not? others as long as one to praise himself, we do not carried away on it? through this we can easily become conceited person, but also easy for the offensive.
there drunkard, but also a businessman, even to light lamps and geographer, i think those people is equivalent to our portrayal of the real world, love the order, and love to be admired, i would like to re-occupy the possession, finally left with nothing … …
i think the little prince this book is a family book, in this book, i can feel that for whom fame for modern day busy round, but not know they have a deep impact on the younger generation, small prince did not understand why adults want to do that? like all children have the same do not know. so i felt, how many more to understand the needs of children, and is no longer a random perfunctory, more children to learn about the ideas, interests, rather than restraint.
i am prince from an early age i learned one thing, the really important things, the eyes are invisible. really important things is to look at motives.

小王子读后感英文
this is a fairytale whose distribution volume is only second to the bible. it’s been translated to versions of many other languages. and i gather there must be something special, something really great about it. it’s this conviction that drove me to read it at the first beginning. well, with due respect to the author, i failed to see how this fairytale be worthy of our attention, despite the fact that many readers claimed this book to be designed for adults.
anyway, as a well-acknowledged book, it must possess unique feature to maintain it’s position. and it’s reputation and popularity will by no means be destroyed by what an unknown man says. i will talk about the main contents of the book, and the inspiration it renders as usual.
this book mainly tells us the experience of a prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finally came to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. the prince and the pilot became good friends, and the pilot gradually got to know the feeling and experience of his friend. before he came to the earth, little prince had been to other 6 little planets where he made acquaintance with some strange people. the first man he met was a king on a little planet, yet he claimed to be the king of the space and ridiculously justified his unshakable governance over all. the second person was a man of vanity, who enjoyed compliments of any form without considering whether it’s sincere or not. the third person was an alcoholic who tried to forget the fact that he’s addicted to acohol by drinking like a fish. the fourth person was an abosolute money-oriented businessman, who cared nothing but his fortune. next came the lamp-lighter who performed his duty blindly. the last one was a geographer who knew too much about geography to solve a real problem related to it. these six people each represented one kind of person like us. the author satirized people’s conceit, emptiness, fakeness, innocence and blindness through the tone of a child.
i see eye to eye with the author in that the cause of people’s loneliness can be concluded to the negligence of the bonds that connects them. people are supposed to care about each other, cherish what’s really important for them, and be grateful for the happiness that they’ve gained. we all believe knowledge and experience enable us to see clearly and make right judgements all the time. but we may sometimes lose the right to speak straighforwardly, think creatively or love courageously resulting from what we’ve experienced. that why in our middle school textbooks, it’s the little kid that breaks the illusion of the emperor by saying ”but mum, he ain’t were anything”。
when i was a child, i was definitely a good boy who went home on time after school and did his homework and never tried anything without mom’s permission. and now i am a grown-up, and still i am a good man, at least, that’s what i heard. sometimes when i was lonely and i began to think about my childhood, then all the happiness and care-free life came back to me as it were yesterday. kids that once accompanied me during my childhood now become fathers and mothers of their kids and i myself am a child no more. thinking about all these things have made me moody. there’re changes happening in our lives whether we are happy about it or not.
people told me life is a journey which will never stop once it’s started. what’s left behind are happiness and sorrow, pride and shame, success and regret. there’s good old time to reminisce and there’s sad hours that reminds us of the pain. your feeling makes them real, and you know you lived.
i want to conclude by saying some positive words that each yestersday used to be today, and each today is the future of yesterday, so making the most of today is the best way to cherish your lives. our mortal beings are doomed to die. it’s not sad, instead, death it’s just a process of our lives. after all, we’ve lived our lives and it’s what we do and how we think that determine who we are.
(when you look at the above passages, don’t regard it as a composition or an article, because if you do, you will be puzzled at the structure. it’s just a few words that come to my mind at the moment and i type them.)
have a nice day!

《特洛伊》英文读后感
i have never been to troy, but david maule made me feel as if i were standing on the high wall of troy, watching the fierce war. thanks to this british author, who adapted the famous homer’s poem into a lively story, i found it easier to understand this story.
though the story happened over 3000 years ago in a remote place, i was deeply fascinated by it. the mysterious plot is one of the reasons why i loved the story of troy so much, yet i am more interested in the human heroes of the war.
hector was the eldest son of king of troy, priam. he was not only a real hero of trojan, but was regarded the highest moral hero in greek classic by later historians.
the war started because of the mischief of his brother, paris, whom he didn’t appreciate. however, since hector was the commander of the trojan army, he was obliged to fight with all force. it was really a tragedy that such a valiant man died in the duel with another great warrior, achilles.
it is natural to see death in a war. as a famous chinese parable says, “a life can be as slight as a piece of feather, or as weighty as mount tai.” sometimes, one’s glory walks hand in hand with one’s doom. achilles was such a typical person. his personal charm made the story of troy more attractive.
he was so crucial because his every appearance in a war encouraged his fellow soldiers and terrified the enemies. actually, achilles was half-god who was almost invincible in people’s mind. that’s why his name was memorized long after his death.
besides the two great men, the wisdom of odysseus also proved him to be a great hero. he didn’t want to attend the war because he was happily married and had a lovely son. however, since his country was allied to mycenae, he had to take the command given by the king of mycenae.
i’m quite sure that the story of the wooden horse is widely known, however, few people know who thought of the brilliant idea, that’s why i admired odysseus so much because he was the person who got the idea. thanks to the horse, the ten-year war came to an end at last. if you want to know how the wooden horse worked, just read the book.
the ancient greeks believed that the gods and goddesses also played important roles in the origin, process and ending of the whole story.
the story of the golden apple was such an example.
when eris, the goddess of argument and disagreement, threw out the golden apple to a wedding ceremony on mount olympus, a dispute happened. hera, the queen of gods, athena, the goddess of wisdom, and aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, were all involved in the argument for the apple.
none of them was willing to give way, so they turned to paris for a final judgment. tempted by aphrodite’s beauty and promise, paris handed the apple to her. to keep her word, aphrodite helped him to get helen, the most beautiful woman in the world, as his wife. that was the cause of the war.
paris’s choice obviously annoyed the other two goddesses. so during the war, they helped the greek alliance army while some other gods, such as apollo and aphrodite, guarded troy.
when paris dueled with helen’s former husband menelaus, aphrodite saved paris when he was about to be finished off.
after the duel between those two people, there was a truce between the greek alliance and troy. however, both hera and athena were not happy to see it.
hera pursued her husband zeus:“ now, will you send athena to make the troyjans break the peace?”(page 22) then with zeus’s permission, athena went down to start the war again and finally she brought the greeks to success.
from the whole story, we can see that in ancient greeks’ view, gods sometimes played a much more important role in their life. however, with the rapid development of science, we have learned that the greek gods never existed. this is why a recent movie of troy has not mentioned a single god.
everything happened due to men’s ambition, love, loyalty or jealousy. with those emotion and people’s effort, we human beings can accomplish wonders and be master of the world.
god are of less importance than they used to be. nonetheless, the gods and goddesses made the story of troy more mysterious and marvelous.
i have learnt from the book more than the wonderful story of history, love and war. i believe that human can determine their destiny by their own. i highly recommend this book to my friends with the same interest.

苏菲的世界英文读后感
sophie's world is a novel by jostein gaarder, published in 1991. it was originally written in norwegian, but has been translated into english and many other languages.
i have to admit that i chose this book because of my curiosity. i have heard that sophie's world is a book with many difficulties because it’s a philosophy book. this book relates to some philosophy knowledge that we have not learnt form our textbooks. i have planned to spend plenty of time to study this book, but because of the limit of time, i can only take several days to finish it during the national day holiday. so there are still some theories that i can’t understand.
in this book, sophie amundsen is a fifteen year old girl living in norway in 1990. she lives with her cat, her goldfish, a tortoise, two budgerigars and her mother. her father is a captain of an oil tanker, and is away for most of the year. he does not appear in the book. sophie's life is rattled as the book
begins, when she receives two anonymous messages in her mailbox (who are you? where does the world come from? )。 shortly afterwards she receives a packet of papers, part of a course in philosophy. with these mysterious
communications, sophie becomes a fifteen-year-old philosopher. alberto knox teaches her about the history of philosophy. sophie learns about philosophy while being lectured by alberto, dressed as a monk, in an ancient church, and she learns about jean-paul sartre and simone de beauvoir. various
philosophical questions and methods of reasoning are put before sophie, as she attempts to work them out on her own.
i thought philosophy is an unreasonable study. however, after reading this book, i find that philosophy is a study which is closest to our lives.
philosophy is a subject relates to some questions that everybody in the world want to know. the aim of philosophy is to solve some problems that can not be proved by science, like good and evil, beauty and ugliness, life and death. i think philosophy is not a kind of science because it can not be measured and calculated. philosophy is a hypothetical interpretation about something that we never know and something we are not sure. it’s also the first step to pursue truth. in our world, we can not avoid disaster and despairing only with science. science brings us knowledge, but only can philosophy bring us wisdom. this is a good guide book to philosophy which is different from many other philosophy books. when i was reading it, it feels like a detective book. it let me think following sophie unconsciously and discuss the philosophy problems also call on some famous philosophers and understand them, walk into their world. this book has many contents but it is not confused. writer divided the book into some chapters and every chapter has its theme. and
every chapter can present several questions. this made readers can understand easily.
from hundreds of years ago, people from every ages and every nations are asking the same questions, as who am i? where does the world come from? just because of people’s curiosity, there is philosophy. but, regretfully, people’s curiosity started to decrease progressively because of their habits. when we are growing, we accept this world gradually and take everything around us for granted. of course, our curiosity will die out. from this part, our curiosity about the world is not match to children. however, philosophers are different because they will never get used to the world. to them, there are still something unreasonable in the world, as well as something complex and something mysterious. they watch this world in children’s view. so they can come up with many deep questions. so they are called wise men. i always think about myself whether i have lost my curiosity and whether i have to苏菲的世界读后感watch this world in a new way. maybe i can not think like children, but i can ask some more questions about the world.
there are many ideas in my mind, but i don’t know how to express them clearly. after reading this book, i acquire much knowledge about
philosophy and gain some enlightenment from it. maybe i should change my attitude towards life.
this book isn’t too difficult to understand. actually, it’s easy and
amusing. in each chapter, a fifteen-year-old girl asks questions to some famous philosophers that she doesn’t know. in the beginning, it is not
necessary to have many dialogs. so the writer used the way of letter to tell the story. since middle ages, it began talking face to face. these questions and answers are so natural that i always think it is true when i was reading. sophie was truly hiding in an eden filled with bush and experienced rainstorm and lightning on the square. the most important point is that these philosophers are wise but not sophisticated. every word and every example of them are so realistic. because of this, many abstract and dry theories are filled with the air of wisdom and beauty. however, the girl’s characters and qualities are not covered by these masters’ light. she is like a boat on the sea, tiny and tough. she has many her own ideas about these great theories, and it’s very special.()
however, it is not enough to let this book be a guide of philosophy only by this. the author uses several clues in this book. in the beginning of this book, we read the story about sophie, then philosophers. but, suddenly, there is an imaginary girl called cid, as well as her father who is working lebanon. cid’s father is like a god that can be everywhere. he uses every way to show that he exists, but he never let anybody see him. sophie’s world is very miraculous and fantastic. when she is studying philosophy, sophie is thinking about her own world at the same time. finally, they find the world which she has lived in for 15 years is only an imaginary world by a philosophy book of her
father. her families, classmates, house, pets, garden, and all kinds of feelings and thoughts are created by her father. her world is just somebody’s illusion and shadow.
to many chinese students, philosophy is hard to understand. but sophie's world this book makes philosophy easy to understand. it’s deep and amusing. after finishing the happy travel in this book about philosophy, readers can find the beacon in their lives. this is a world full of wisdom and dream. we can meet those famous philosophers, talk to them and understand them easily. every time when we meet them, we will be shocked by their great thoughts.
this book also tells me that result is less important than the process we get the result. in our lives, we should always ask but not accept. we should find the beauty of thinking.

英文版读后感(一)
jane eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. after we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, jane eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:
we remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.
we remember her pursuit of justice. it’s like a companion with the goodness. but still, a virtuous person should promote the goodness on one side and must check the badness on the other side.
we remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. in her opinion, everyone is the same at the god’s feet. though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality.
we also remember her striving for life, her toughness and her confidence…
when we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality.
英文版读后感(二)
recently, i have reading the book "jane eyre”。
although i forgot some details in the book, jane gave me deeply impression, i admire her very much. after that the teacher also told us to put the play in to a movie, and then we all can touch each hero’s soul in the book. the play it mainly tell us how jane is growing up when suffering from great difficulties and painless. what's more, it is impressed me that she still love her master even if he is blind at last due to rescue his mad wife. and i like the classic lines what jane said to mr. rochester :"do you think i can stay to become nothing to you? do you think i am an automaton?--a machine without feelings? and can bear to have my morsel of bread snatched from my lips, and my drop of living water dashed from my cup?
do you think, because i am poor, obscure, plain, and little, i am soulless and heartless? you think wrong!--i have as much soul as you,--and full as much heart! and if god had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, i should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you. i am not talking to you now through the medium of custom, conventionalities, nor even of mortal flesh;--it is my spirit that addresses your spirit; just as if both had passed through the grave, and we stood at god's feet, equal,--as we are!" its so beautiful, jane is a girl who will never lose confidence in life and always sensible when handling with some motional problems. jane was huge in my heart. she can control her life and fate. she knew how to continue her life and she got it!
maybe after what she told me i have known that what love is and how to love and to be loved! the book is a book worth of reading, so all in all let’s enjoy it!
英文版读后感(三)
"love" in the history of english literature is handed down as a classic, it has successfully shaped the history of english literature first on love, life, society and religion, have taken a stand on one's own initiative and dare to struggle, dare to fight for freedom and equality of female image.
almost all women love foreign literature, like d charlotte's "in love".if we think that charlotte is only just to write this section of tangled up love to write "love".i think, sorry, that's not correct.the author also is a female, living in turbulent england in the middle of the nineteenth century, when the thoughts have a brand new start.and in "jane love" in infiltration is the largest such thoughts -- women's sense of independence.let us imagine, if jane love independent, has been killed in his childhood; if she did not share the independent, she already and wife rochester to live together, began to have money, a new life; if she is not that the purity, we are now in the hands of "jane love" is no longer a touching tears classic.so, i began to think, why "jane love" let us be moved, fondle admiringly -- she is independent personality, beckoning personality charm.
however, we can't help wanting to ask, only this step can be independent?i think i won't.after all, women's independence is a long-term process, not accomplish at one stroke.it needs a thorough courage, love was like jane decided to leave rochester, need "wind rustling xi the yi river is so cold, strong earth to did not return" heroic and courage.i think, this should be the most crucial one step, also should be the decisive step towards independence.and charlotte's jane love but her stubborn disposition, independent personality left us a moved.so she is successful, happy women.()
jane love has as an independent women's classic, i hope the sun, the flowers more jane love out, whether poor or rich,; whether beauty, or homely, have good heart and enrich the mind, can the independent personality and strong character life.
